The outdoor spaces at Waterside Cottage are equally appealing. A large lawn with picnic benches, a terrace overlooking the canal and a back garden with a barbecue offer plenty of options for outdoor relaxation. Guests can access the canal towpath directly and enjoy fishing or boating, with buoyancy aids provided. Those with their own canoe or dinghy are welcome to bring them along, and members of the British Canoe Union can make use of the canal without a licence.
