The accommodation consists of three fantastic properties, all beautifully converted from a Listed stone-built barn. Each cottage features a unique upside-down living layout, designed to make the most of the breathtaking views across the surrounding countryside. These welcoming cottages are ideal for families or friends looking to escape the pressures of modern life and enjoy a relaxing break in a truly scenic setting.
Stable Cottage sleeps up to five guests, with accommodation arranged on the ground floor. Old Byre Cottage sleeps four and includes flexible sleeping arrangements, with either one double bed or two single beds, alongside a bunk room. Hayloft Cottage is a ground-level property sleeping four, offering the choice of two double beds or four single beds.
All cottages offer wide, easy access to the bedrooms and include a modern bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. The well-equipped kitchens are ideal for home cooking and include a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge with icebox, and a dining area seating up to six people. Guests can unwind in the cosy lounges, admire the countryside views, and make use of the shared laundry facility located in the farmhouse utility room.
High Lane Farm is perfectly positioned for exploring a range of nearby towns, villages and attractions. Kirkby Stephen is close by and offers a traditional market town experience, with historic buildings, cobbled yards, charming corners and a variety of interesting independent shops. Walkers may also enjoy visiting Appleby-in-Westmorland, which lies in a loop of the River Eden and is overlooked by the Pennine range. The town provides an excellent starting point for exploring the surrounding countryside on foot.
