Access within the property includes a spiral staircase, which may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or wheelchair users. In addition, The Bothy does not accommodate pets.
Wheel Cottage offers a more accessible alternative, as it is arranged entirely on one level. This detached cottage includes a bright and spacious bedroom with a double bed and an en suite bathroom. The open-plan lounge and kitchen create a comfortable and practical living space, while outside, a private patio leads to a secure enclosed garden. Convenient parking is available nearby, and pets can be accommodated by prior arrangement, making it a flexible option for a wider range of guests.
Hay Lake Farm is ideally located for exploring many of Cornwall’s most popular attractions. Guests are within easy reach of the region’s stunning beaches, as well as Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, offering excellent opportunities for walking and outdoor activities. There are also numerous National Trust properties and local points of interest to discover, alongside a wide selection of quality restaurants and traditional pubs.
For those travelling with horses, the farm also offers equestrian facilities. The surrounding quiet country lanes provide excellent conditions for riding, allowing guests to explore the area directly from the property.
