New Forest ponies and foals wandering freely outside the cottage and yet it is
only a short drive from the bustling city of Southampton.

The cottage is hidden away down a private road and the
open forest is only a few meters away.
The cottage is a perfect base for a “fitness break”.
Simply
turn left as you leave the cottage and straight ahead of you are miles of
traffic free running. The forest is a fantastic place for a relaxed run as
there is no traffic and if you're on an early morning run you will probably
spot a deer or two. Take care not to get too relaxed when you run though as if
you get lost you may end up having a longer run than anticipated!
Road cyclists will find the quiet country roads perfect for building up
the miles whilst the mountain bikers will be in their element with the marked
trails in the forest.
Dogs are welcome at Alpine Cottage.
