Bird watching and the abundance of wild flowers Primroses, Bluebells, the white veils of the May trees in bloom early in the season followed by the golden Gorse blooms bringing the hillside to life in May ,the Fuchsia hedges with their red flowers in late summer followed by the heather in the autumn are all a nature lovers delight.
A Forest Park at Parkmore, with walks in the mountains by numerous waterfalls. Great possibilities for bird watching. There is a nine hole golf course. Cushendall has a sailing club and Ardclinis activity centre can arrange rock-climbing, wind surfing and mountain bike trips.
