Kestrel Cottage is situated in a rural loaction between Great Bedwyn and Crofton on the edge of Savernake Forest.

The cottage which enjoys views across open farmland stands next to Brail Vista and accessed via the main drive
Upstairs there are two large bedrooms and a bathroom:

Bedroom 1: Comfortable double bed with pocket sprung mattress, dressing table with stool, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers and wardrobe.

Bedroom 2: Two single beds, bedside cabinets, dressing table with stool, chest of drawers and wardrobe. There are a fold up bed, travel cot and high chair available.
The Kennet & Avon Canal runs close by with beautiful walks along the tow path, take a gentle walk to Great Bedwyn where you will find the local Bakery, which sells it own freshly made bread. Take a ten minute walk in the other direction to Crofton Pumping Station, the oldest working Beam Engines in the world. There are many interesting sights to see and things to do along the canal. Caen Hill flight of 29 locks at Devizes is well worth a visit. There are plenty of inns close by the canal along the way where you can refresh your self’s. Narrow boat trips are available from nearby Hungerford and Pewsey or further away from Devizes.
