Cross Farm Barn offers three very attractive,
individual and stylish self-catering cottages in Holmfirth which have been
sympathetically converted in recent years. The buildings were formerly a 17th
century stone barn on a working farm. The farm still exists today and is run
alongside the self catering accommodation.
Two of our holiday cottages sleep 4 people and
boast a double room and a twin room, while our third holiday cottage sleeps 2
(in a double room).
The Holme Valley is famous for its outstanding
beauty, on the edge of the peak district and Pennine Hills. Holmfirth is the
largest market town in the valley as immortalised in the long-running TV show,
'Last of the Summer Wine'. It is also the backdrop for the popular 'Where the
Heart Is'. Both these programmes are filmed in the immediate surrounding areas
of the Holme Valley.
