Nestling in the grounds of the most famous landmark in the Hebrides, Callanish Farmhouse is almost within the shadow of the Calanais Stones (Callanish in English).
However the farmhouse has a long history of its own which only adds to
the magic when you stay in this inviting and well equipped self catering
cottage.
Calanais Visitor Centre is on the doorstep, if you want to eat out, or
fancy some home made baking, specialty tea, or coffee before heading out on
your days exploring.
The Farmhouse is ideally situated, not only close to the Stones, but you
can access Lewis and Harris, Great Bernera and all the islands have to offer
from 'home' it's all within driving distance.
If you don't have a car, we are on the local bus route, or there are
bike hire and car hire firms to take advantage off.
