Greygles,
Melcombe Bingham, Dorset
Enjoy
rural peace in Greygles, a spacious, well-equipped self catering stone house,
with delightful views, on the edge of a friendly village set in the hills of
central Dorset.
The
self catering house offers the feel of a country cottage but with modern
facilities and space for a family party. It comfortably sleeps up to seven
people.
Locally
there is plenty to do, with attractions like Cerne Abbas – The famous rude
giant, Sherborne – one of the prettiest nearby towns with two castles, an
ancient abbey, and lots of antique shops and up-market boutiques, Maiden Castle
– Britain’s largest hill-top Iron Age fort is still today a massive defensive
construction you would be scared to attack, and the Jurassic Coast – The
stretch from Purbeck to Chesil Beach is close to Greygles and part of the 200
mile Dorset and Devon coast recently declared a World Heritage Site for both
its beauty and its fossils.
