are Ivy House, one of the leading self catering cottages in the Ludlow, Ludford
and Shropshire area.
We
offer all of the luxury and comfort that you would expect from a 5 star hotel
at our holiday cottage with all the freedom that you desire from luxury self
catering holiday accommodation.
Our
holiday cottage is located in the charming medieval Market Town of Ludlow,
which was once described by John Betjamin as "the most perfect town in
England". The town is known for its gourmet festivals, fantastic
restaurants and 15th century Castle. All of these attractions are just minutes
away from the cottage.
Ludlow
is well-known for its wide variety of wonderful cafes, restaurants, pubs and
specialist food shops. Many of these are within just a few minutes walking
distance - and some can even be found right on the doorstep of Ivy House, in
Quality Square.
Ludlow
and its castle are perched on a cliff above the picturesque River Teme in south
Shropshire. It is surrounded by the beautiful and unspoiled countryside of the
Welsh Marches. The 900 year old Norman planned town breathes history at every
turn, and it has fascinating architecture with its castle, church, medieval and
Georgian buildings.
The
lively and unspoilt market town, with its independent shops, holds regular
traditional street markets on Castle Square on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays,
with an additional summer market on Wednesdays from April to September.
