on the outskirts of the village of Brithdir, 2 miles from the historic market
town of Dolgellau, the barn offers self catering accommodation filled with

'The
Barn' is converted from a stone built cattle barn. It is not overlooked by the
farm house and has wide views to the Aran and Rhinog mountains.
Bala
Lake (15m) is a popular canoeing, dinghy sailing and windsurfing centre. Bala
is a pretty town, its wide main street having a variety of architectural
styles, good shops, cafes and pubs. In particular Bala is home to the best
sausages in the UK.
The
Barn is close to Coed y Brenin, which was the first forest to be developed for
the sport of mountain biking and to this day retains its reputation as the
sports premier location. A range of routes suitable for everyone from families
and novices to rocky technical trails for expert riders radiate out from our
stunning state of the art eco visitor centre.

Lake, Fairbourne and Talyllyn, Golf courses at Dolgellau, Machynlletch, Bala,
Ffestiniog, Harlech & Aberdovey, all within a short drive, 10 miles from
the sea for a good beach and boat fishing, Game and coarse fishing in nearby
Mawddach and Wnion Rivers, on Llyn Cynwch, Llyn Gwernan & Talyllyn, and
Just four miles from the peak of Cader Idris.
