Dufton House is a grade 2 listed Georgian farmhouse dating back to 1662
that offers bed and breakfast accommodation, situated in the peaceful village
of Brigham just 2 miles from Cockermouth, Cumbria. The guest house retains many
original features including the stone staircase, wood panelling, sash windows,
and window seats overlooking the secluded and quiet walled garden.
Our luxurious central heated double bedroom, overlooking the walled
garden, is tastefully decorated with coordinated wall coverings, curtains and
soft furnishings. The spacious en-suite bathroom has a deep bath with shower
attachment and a walk in wardrobe.
Dufton Guest House is an ideal base for exploring the Western Lakes and
the Solway Coast. Crummock Water, Loweswater and Buttermere are a short drive
away through the beautiful Lorton Vale.
