Grooms Cottage is less than two miles from the picturesque medieval
village of Dunster and within the Exmoor National Park. We nestle in a south
facing position with extensive views over the Avill valley that inspired Mrs C
F Alexander to write the hymn "All Things Bright & Beautiful".
Grooms Self Catering Cottage is a single storey detached bungalow with
leaded windows. The cottage is situated near to the owners' home, sharing the
garden but with its own private area and patio. The cottage is tastefully and
comfortably furnished with co-ordinating quality fabrics and solid oak flooring
throughout the living area.
Exmoor National Park is one of the most exclusive National Park's. Set aside
in 1954 to be a protected environment some aspects of the park have changed
very little since. The towns and villages in the park have been protected from
development and still retain their olde wolde charm. There is plenty to see and
do in Exmoor National Park - from a broad range of outdoor pursuits to local
heritage houses and gardens such as Dunster Castle.
