Seann Taigh is a restored thatched cottage that now provides self catering accommodation in the southern part of the Western Isles in the South Uist area of Lochboisdale.
The self catering cottage has wonderful views and are close to many unspoilt beaches.
The peaceful location of the self catering cottage is a great place for fishing, walking, bird watching and cycling. In the summer months there is plenty to do including a week long festival called ceolas which celebrates music, dancing and all different instruments.
There is also South Uist Highland games which includes a variety of things such as dancing and piping. There are many lochs around which have lots of types of fish and there is also a golf course at Askernish.
