A peaceful haven, just a mile from the lovely town of Chipping Campden, The Stables provides an extremely spacious relaxing home in a secluded setting. Dating from 1797, it has been sympathetically restored to retain its oak beams, sloping ceilings and original "salt lick" (from its time as a stable), without compromising 21st century comfort.
The property has oak floors with underfloor gas central heating throughout. In the Snug (second sitting room) there is also a wood burning stove. Private garden and private parking for two cars. A pub in the village serves very good, reasonably priced meals.
GARDEN The private garden is reached from The Snug and slopes gently to a paved patio area with table and chairs. There is a lawned area and a wide border with mature trees and shrubs. Barbecue. The garden is enclosed by a 6ft fence on one side and by approx 3ft high wall on the other side.
BROAD CAMPDEN - Only 1 mile from Chipping Campden, Broad Campden is an extremely attractive small village which has many thatched cottages, a charming church, the oldest Friends Meeting House in the country (17th Century) and the Bakers Arms pub offering excellent food and real ale. There are many public footpaths in the area.
