Walker Cottages offer self catering accommodation located in the village of Reeth near the market town of Richmond in North Yorkshire. Both cottages are located in the top right hand corner of the village green where you will see the Methodist Church.
Cragside - This is a modernised holiday cottage built in local stone. It has fitted carpets throughout and has oil-fired central heating. There is a lounge/dining room with a Freesat TV, DVD player and radio. The kitchen is fully equipped offering an electric cooker, fridge, toaster, microwave, automatic washing machine and ironing facilities. There are also two bedrooms including one twin room and one double room. The bathroom has a bath, shower, toilet, wash basin and shaver point.
Glenkobla - This small but charming accommodation has been furnished to a high standard. Built in local stone this barn has been converted into studio accommodation. There is a living room that has comfortable seating and a Freeview TV. There is also a kitchen that has an electric cooker, fridge, toaster, microwave, ironing facilities and a spin dryer. The bed is located in the loft where there is a double bed. The bathroom has a bath, electric shower, toilet, wash basin and a shaver point.
The village of Reeth is a charming open settlement around a spacious village green, mentioned in the Domesday Book as "Rie" deriving from the Anglo-Saxon word meaning stream. Around the village there is plenty to explore, of particular interest the bridge built in 1773 by John Carr many guests also enjoy visiting the Folk Museum.
