Clevedon House offers bed and breakfast accommodation situated in the heart of Hungerford in Berkshire. Clevedon House is a beautifully refurbished period family home, conveniently located in Hungerford High Street.
Clevedon offers 3 double bedrooms all en suite with 2 having patio areas. All of the rooms have been recently refurbished to a high standard and include double beds, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer, Freeview TV, free Wi-Fi and an iron on request.
Bedding is made of the finest Egyptian cotton and hypo-allergenic duvets and pillows are in both rooms, along with complimentary Sherry!
Breakfast is now served in the light and airy vaulted dining room it is carefully prepared and served with old fashioned style. We use Fairtrade and local produce whenever possible. We can also cater for those with any special dietary requirement please just let us know before arriving.
Hungerford High Street is a pretty tree lined street close to the Kennet & Avon Canal and main line railway to Paddington, Reading, Newbury and Newbury Racecourse.
There are many pretty walks surrounding Hungerford and Freemans Marsh is of 'special scientific interest' which is renowned for is Bird and Wildlife.
A canal path passes through Hungerford which has delightful walks and a cycle route. You can also enjoy a trip on the canal on a Narrow Boat.
