Home Farmhouse, Charlton, Nr Banbury, Oxfordshire
Home Farmhouse provides ideal bed and breakfast accommodation for visitors to the Cotswolds and is located in Charlton near Banbury in Oxfordshire. It is a beautiful old country house with beamed ceilings and inglenook fireplaces that add to its country charm.
Our luxury rooms at the B&B are furnished mainly with family antiques but also with furniture picked up on the family's many stays and trips around the world. Rooms are full of character, old and distinctive.
During the summer months we find that most guests prefer to take advantage of the long daylight hours and eat wherever they happen to find themselves at the appropriate time.
There are several good pubs in the neighbourhood which we can recommend and make reservations if required. This is particularly important on Fridays and Saturdays when the good pubs tend to get booked up.
Home Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast is located in Charlton, just east of the M40 between Junctions 10 and 11. It is an old village mentioned in the Domesday Book (1067), a modern copy of which you can look at in the house. The village has a shop, a post office and a good pub only 100 yards (metres) from the house.
We provide the ideal bed and breakfast accommodation choice for anyone wishing to take in the many sights and natural beauty of the Cotswolds. Our bed & breakfast accommodation is traditional English hospitality at its best.
