Log Cabin Holidays are a collection of beautifully appointed self catering holiday homes situated within the grounds of Athelington Hall in the North Suffolk countryside.
Our holiday cabins are close to the Suffolk Heritage Coast and the Norfolk Broads, making them an ideal retreat for those who want to escape the hassle of work or as a base to explore the East Anglian countryside and heritage coast.

There are 5, 2 bedroomed lodge available; all with 1 double room with en suite shower room and 1 twin bedroom and a full bathroom. All feature lounge, dining area and kitchen. Prices include fishing in the moat, a games room and a large lawned area, details of which can be found in the Lodge upon your arrival. All original cabins include a Jacuzzi hot tub.
The Countryside Lodges are very well appointed with fitted kitchen, en suite master bedroom, good size family bathroom and a twin bedded room. There is also a sofa bed in the open plan lounge area that can sleep two adults. The Lodges are double glazed and have full central heating and are equipped with microwave, fridge and a Freeview TV.
Our luxury collection of log cabins with either one or two bedrooms all have their own private hot tub on the deck and the 1 bedroom unit has a four poster bed with sauna in the bathroom. They have an open plan living area with modern furnishings. This design combines contemporary décor with functional and fashionable living.
There is additional decking on the front of the lodges for you to be able to dine outside.
Within the grounds of Athelington Hall there are a number of facilities for you to enjoy during your stay. There is plenty of space for the children to play, as well as a games room with table football, table tennis, darts and children’s play area. Fishing is available in the in the moat. The impressive moat and acres of open fields surround the 17th century Hall, complete with a fine avenue of oak trees. It is situated in an idyllic location in North Suffolk, the surrounding area being a haven for wildlife. Wonderful walks in unspoilt countryside unfold virtually from the doorstep.
The popular market town of Framlingham is only 15 minutes away, home to a superb medieval castle and a traditional Saturday market. The breath taking Suffolk Heritage Coast is only a 30 minute drive away and are both easily reachable are both Aldeburgh and Southwold.
Other attractions include Orford castle and Minsmere Bird Reserve. If it’s the towns or cities you are looking for then Norwich, Ipswich, Woodbridge, Lavenham and Bury St Edmunds are all within 30 miles.
