Plas Treforgan offers self catering accommodation in Llangoedmor near Cardigan, Ceredigion. Two beautiful four stars self catering luxury holiday cottages converted using the dairy & stable buildings of our restored Georgian Grade 2 listed mansion.
The accommodation at Plas Treforgan comprises of two self catering cottages, The Stables & The Creamery, constructed within the former dairy and stables located on the east wing of the private main house. Recently renovated so that holiday makers can share in the tranquil surroundings of our home, as well as explore a part of Wales that is full of character, history and beauty.
The Stables
Formerly a stable, cowshed and shepherd’s cottage, The Stables is the larger of the two cottages featuring exposed beams, high ceilings, period furniture and collectibles. The cottage is also centrally heated and overlooks both the cobbled courtyard and our open field.
The Creamery
Formerly the old dairy with exposed beams, the Creamery contains period furniture and collectables. Quaint and comfortable, the Creamery is also centrally heated. Windows overlook the pretty cobbled courtyard.
2 miles from Cardigan, close to the meandering Teifi River as it approaches Cardigan Bay on the Pembrokeshire border. Set in 16 acres of beautiful grounds, Plas Treforgan is a perfect base to explore an area of outstanding natural beauty, steeped in Celtic history.
Local attractions include the award winning Poppit Sands bay with its famous dolphins; Cilgerran Wildlife Centre, Pembrokeshire Coastal Path; Gwbert Golf course; and fishing at Cenarth Falls. Also canoeing, birdwatching; the list goes on. There's something for everyone. This is ideal for walking, fishing, painting, and bird watching holidays.
