Rookery Lodge is located just outside of Ardleigh near Colchester. Our cosy picturesque holiday cottage / bungalow has half an acre of garden, can sleep up to 6 people, on a quiet arable farm.
We are just a short distance to picturesque Dedham village in Constable country and numerous walks through beautiful Essex countryside.
The beaches of Mersea, Frinton, Harwich, and Felixstowe are just half an hour away. Orford, Aldeburgh, Dunwich, and Southwold on the Suffolk coast, University city of Cambridge only 1 hour away. Only 15 minutes from Ipswich and historic Colchester with its castle museum and Zoo.
