The Towerhouse is an impressive red sand stone, 3 storey guesthouse, retaining many of its original features, dating in parts, back to 1870. Located in he town of Bridgwater in Somerset.
We are situated on the popular west side, within easy walking distance from the historic town centre of Bridgwater. Yet only 5 minutes to the M5 motorway access.
Nikki and Steve, resident proprietors, offer a range of flexible accommodation to cater for your individual needs, either business or leisure. We aim to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Bridgwater is a great place to stay, during November it is the home to the world famous Guy Fawkes Carnival. Which is held on weekend nearest the 5th November. It is truly spectacular. It has a good selection of pubs and restaurants, we have a 3D cinema and our Arts Centre was the first one to be opened in this country. Bridgwater’s greatest attraction is it’s proximity to other areas in the beautiful West Country, The Quantock Hills was the first designated AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) which is only 20 minutes away.
