Four Star Gold rated by the UK's 'Tourist Board', this is our detached Georgian style house in the suburbs of the ancient and famous Roman City of Bath in the South West of England.
Built new for us in 2000, the property is in its own courtyard with security barrier, views to the glorious English countryside at the rear and 2 large patios for winter or summer entertaining.
Heated outdoor 'grotto' and outdoor living area with barbeque, fridge etc giving a Mediterranean feel.
Within a short drive of the village you can visit Castle Combe, possibly England's prettiest village (check out the motor racing circuit too!) and Lacock, a National Trust owned historic village. Lacock Abbey is where photography was invented and some of Harry Potter filmed.
Within close walking distance are such sights as: The famous Solsbury Hill (from Peter Gabriel's song), St Catherine's valley (and the former home of Jane Seymour), Brown's Folly, the river Avon for walking, wild swimming at Claverton weir, fishing or boat rides, the Kennet and Avon canal, countryside walks including the Batheaston Commons and riverside pubs with great food.
