The West Usk Lighthouse is a cosy bed and breakfast situated near the City of Newport, Gwent, at the junction of the Severn and the Usk Estuaries, overlooking the Bristol Channel; now also a small wedding venue we are licenced for civil ceremonies for up to 23 guests. 

We also have a hot tub on the roof garden, which has a ' holiday in the sun' feel about it. You can relax there and watch the sun at dawn or dusk or follow a group of shooting stars on their way down There are barbecue facilities for anyone who wants to have a go. 

Great fun for groups. We also have an infrared sauna for detoxing or for pleasure.

Quite close to the lighthouse are palatial Tredegar House (lake and craft shops in its grounds) and romantic little Castell Coch ('the red castle'). 

Also well worth visiting are the Roman city of Caerleon, and the castles of Caldicot, Chepstow, Raglan, Cardiff, & Caerphilly. Check their websites for events.
