Monks Retreat Holiday Cottages are a trio of well appointed holiday homes located in Millers Dale, a beautiful village in the heart of Derbyshire. 

Our holiday homes are just a short drive from Buxton and are a great base for those who want to explore the Peak District National Park.

The cottages and gardens are equipped with barbeques and garden furniture and face south, getting the best of the sunshine all day long. Each of the cottages is individual in character and maintains its own privacy but together they make an ideal base for a larger party or group of families.

All the holiday cottages are situated where Monksdale joins Millers Dale in the heart of the limestone area of the Peak District - an area noted for its beautiful dales and limestone uplands which give endless scope for exploring on foot, by bicycle or car.
