The Rest and Be Thankful Inn offers bed and breakfast accommodation in the centre of Wheddon Cross the highest village within the Exmoor National Park.

Our restaurant has firmly established itself as the place to eat when visiting the moor, or to pop in for a light snack when out for a ramble. We take pride in our traditional home cooked pub meals in the heart of Exmoor, using local produce in and around Wheddon Cross whenever possible. Great care and attention is taken in the cooking and presentation of each dish. Vegetarian dishes are always available, and any special dietary requests can be accommodated with prior notice.

If you are looking for a walking, cycling, or fly fishing break, we will do everything we can to provide you with the perfect holiday. There is a secure store at the inn, where cycles and other equipment can be kept, and we also have a drying room for wet clothes and boots. Horse riding and hunting can be arranged with prior notice.
