West Wind Guest House is situated in a quiet position in Lee-on-the-Solent, just a short drive from Gosport in Hampshire. Our guest house provides high quality and comfortable accommodation that is ideally suited to both business and leisure guests. We are privileged to be in an ideal location just 50 meters from the beach and a short walk to all local amenities. 

Our family run guest house has bright, clean and modern guest rooms that include flat screen televisions with Freeview, DVD players, iPod docking stations, hair dryers and hospitality trays. For those of you who are staying with us on business each room includes Wi-Fi internet access and a desk to work from. 

A full English breakfast is served in our bright breakfast room and is well known for being a generous size. For evening meals there are many places to eat within walking distance which cater for all tastes from pub food to haute cuisine. 

The town of Gosport dates to the 13th Century and for the last 300 years has had close links with the Royal Navy. It is now home to the Royal Navy Submarine Museum. Maritime Portsmouth, the home of HMS Victory, HMS Warrior, the Mary Rose Museum and the Naval Dockyard, is a 25 minute drive away, or alternatively take the 5 minute ferry ride across the harbour from Gosport to Portsmouth. Once you have had enough of naval history you can relax at nearby Gunwharf Quays, with over 95 designer outlets and over 20 waterfront bars and restaurants.

Should you wish to go further afield, West Wind Guest House is an excellent base from which to explore many famous attractions, from the Cathedral Cities of Salisbury, which boasts the highest church spire in Britain, Winchester home to the legendary Round Table and Chichester. Historic Stonehenge, the New Forest and Southampton all are an easy drive away or why not take the high speed ferry from Portsmouth to the Isle of Wight.
