Ashford Farm Cottages are three delightful pet friendly holiday cottages situated at Ashford Carbonell near Ludlow in the lovely county of Shropshire. We are surrounded by pretty countryside, making us the ideal base for those on a walking holiday. 

Threshers Cottage (Sleeps 5):

This lovely cottage, with conservatory and Wi-Fi internet access, is set in a conservation area at the centre of the picturesque cul-de-sac village of Ashford Carbonell. Built in 1997 to a traditional design, the cottage has its own individual front driveway and secure rear garden with patio and barbecue. There are many interesting footpaths leading from Ashford Farm, e.g. the Tinkers Hill walk or the two hour circular loop through Middleton. For the less enthusiastic walker, Teme’s Green (River Teme ‘beach’) is only 500yds away!

Well Meadow (Sleeps 4):

Converted from an old granary in 2005, the cottage is situated approximately 250yds behind the owner’s farmhouse and is surrounded by 65 acres of pasture land. It enjoys total tranquillity and has a splendid view of Clee Hill to the rear. A large patio follows two sides of the cottage. There is a stream adjacent to the one side of the large shrubbed and lawned garden. The garden is fully fenced and secure (children and dogs cannot access the stream).

The Old Bull Pen (Sleeps 6):

Luxury accommodation which is all on one level. As the name suggests, back when Ashford Farm had a dairy herd, this is where the bull lived. This ground floor level cottage has a master bedroom with king size bed and superior en suite, a double room with en suite and a twin room also with en suite. There is a spacious lounge with a wood burner and open plan kitchen/diner with utility that leads to the rear patio.

Whilst staying with us visit historic Ludlow, famous for its gourmet food and its history as the capital of the Marches. Ludlow is the first town in the UK to be awarded ‘Cittaslow’ status for its quality of life.
