Thorpe Farm Centre offers facilities for campers, tourers and motorhomes within the beautiful area of Barnard Castle, Teesdale. The licensed campsite and caravan park offers a wide range of attractions for the whole family to make it a memorable day out, short break or holiday in Co Durham.
The campsite has 90 hard standing pitches with hook up and 50 camping pitches. We have fresh water points located around the site and a chemical disposal point adjacent to the amenity block.
The campsite and caravan park has the following facilities on site:-
A coffee shop and bistro restaurant plus a gift and farm shop.
Walled garden, trampolines and play area.
A function room for parties and events.
A reclamation barn.
Heritage Wood with 6 walks ranging from 1-8 miles starting and finishing at Thorpe Farm.
Animal paddocks.
Adjacent to the Caravan Park is our Country Park and Woodland Walk. In addition, we have a series of walks, ranging from 1-8 miles, starting and finishing at Thorpe Farm, maps are available on request.
As well as outdoor activities there is a wide range of attractions close by such as Bowes Museum, Raby Castle, Headlam Hall and the Lake District.
