Ashwood Grange offers 4-star guest accommodation in the beautiful English Riviera in Devon. Our guest house is only a short walk from all amenities within Torquay and is an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions and places of interest in this beautiful part of England.
All of the guest rooms have been tastefully decorated and very comfortably furnished. We offer eight rooms with en suite bathrooms and 1 of our guest rooms is on the ground floor which is ideal for those with children or limited mobility. All bedrooms at Ashwood Grange have full central heating, beverage making facilities, shaver points, hair dryers, alarm clock/radios and a television with Freeview. We have a popular 2 room family suite that includes a room with a double bed and en suite bathroom, with an interconnecting door opening to a room with 2 single beds and a separate entrance. We offer complimentary toiletries in all our bathrooms and a number of our rooms have DVD players.
Breakfast is served in our dining room which has lovely views overlooking the garden and the surrounding countryside. This is a lovely setting to enjoy a continental breakfast or a heartier full English option. We also have a choice of toast and preserves, fresh juice, tea and fresh brew coffee.
Torquay is the largest of the 3 towns that make up the Torbay area and is known for being within the English Riviera which is popular for its great climate conditions. Torquay has a diverse range of restaurants and eateries including Indian, Chinese, Italian and French to name but a few. Traditional fish and chip shops are available and fresh Brixham fish can be purchased on the harbourside. Popular entertainments in Torquay include Living Coasts (discover life by the sea), Kents cavern prehistoric caves, ten pin and crown green bowling, water sports, Torquay United football club, Torquay Athletic Rugby club and Torquay Cricket Club
