Nestled on a 200-acre conservation farm, Mill Cottage is a lovely place to escape from the pressures of modern life. The cottage sleeps up to 5 people and has been beautifully restored to offer high-quality accommodation. Original features include Georgian sash windows, deep window sills, a stone kitchen floor and a spinning wheel mirror. A large farmhouse kitchen comes with an Esse cooker, granite worktops, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and good quality utensils. You can unwind in the living room which comes with comfy sofas and an original hobgrate fireplace. Outside there is a lovely patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ. A charming place for a morning coffee whilst enjoying views of rolling countryside.
Miller’s Barn sleeps up to 2 people and 2 extra people on the sofa bed. The property boasts a 370 year old brick chimney breast constructed from handmade brick. A Jotul wood burning stove now sits in the original fireplace opening on a hearth of reclaimed stone flags. The farmhouse kitchen is fully equipped to suit all your needs: washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment, Belfast sink and granite worktops. The sofa pulls out into a four foot sofa bed to accommodate an extra two guests. Outside there is a pretty patio area with seating and a BBQ. A great place for a spot of al fresco dining.
