Set on a working family farm in the pretty village of Alne, The Alders Caravan Park is only 9 miles from the historic city of York and is ideally placed to explore the Moors, the Dales and other local attractions. The Alders is surrounded by rolling farmland just a short walk from the village pub and offers a relaxing break for those who are camping, touring or staying in a motorhome. During the summer months, visitors can stroll over to the pavilion, enjoy a drink at the clubhouse and watch village cricket.
All pitches are level, well-drained, spacious and come with electric hook-up. Two shower and toilet blocks have fully equipped shower rooms with facilities for disabled visitors. They are located centrally within the 22-acre site and are cleaned daily.
Dog owners can take advantage of the farm walk. Or you could just sit and watch the cows graze the parkland fields and enjoy the peace and quiet.
The pod area is sheltered, well-drained and beautifully landscaped. It offers standard or family-sized pods in an enclosed car-free area making it an ideal place for young families to allow their children to play. There’s a large covered BBQ and dining area just in case it’s too sunny. The village sports field offers a well-equipped children’s play area, all-weather floodlit tennis courts, a basketball court and its own orchard.
