Petercott is our 18th-century farmhouse in Somerset, at East Pennard near Shepton Mallet. It offers comfortable and homely accommodation that is ideally located for exploring this beautiful part of the West Country.
We have two guest rooms available which have shared bathroom facilities. We only accept one group of guests at a time to ensure you are not sharing your bathroom with just anybody. This makes us popular for families who are wanting to visit Somerset.
Going beyond simple, impersonal bed and breakfast, "Bed & Fed" offers you the hospitality we would offer our own friends. On arrival, you are offered a cup of tea and cake. No need to hunt down a restaurant if you don’t want, you are welcome to join us for "Kitchen style supper". However, If you wish to join us please bring your own bottle (fridge available to keep drinks cool) maybe even wander around the garden with a drink or sit in front of a log fire before we sit down (by the Aga) for supper.
Nearby are Glastonbury (Tor & Abbey), Wells (Cathedral & Bishop's Palace), Shepton Mallet (Kilver Court), Bath and West Showground, Street, Bruton (Hauser & Wirth, The Chapel Restaurant) and Castle Cary (mainline train station). Bristol Airport is only 40 minutes away.
