The rooms are basic but comfortable, all of which are en suite and come with complimentary parking, Wi-Fi and breakfast. There are nine en suite rooms and no two are the same. There are coffee making facilities in the rooms and complimentary bottled water on arrival.
A laidback tasting menu is served at 7pm from Thursday to Saturday at a really affordable £39.50 per person. The number of courses varies but is never less than seven and is a relaxed way to enjoy an evening on your own or with friends. The casual dining menu is available from 6.00pm - 9.00pm from Sunday to Wednesday and offers lots of variety, with local food and fresh ingredients.
The old headmasters' study has been given new life as the Gin Bar with 24 gins, open for a relaxing drink from 6.30pm until 10pm midweek and 6.30pm until 11pm on weekends (9pm Sundays) with the Espin bar open at the same times.
The small but passionate team love to get involved with celebrations and work hard to make you and your party feel at home. They personalise each event so please get in touch and they can put a quote together for you. The Espin Lounge and Bar can be hired for private functions, with a small stage and dedicated buffet/servery it offers a versatile space for up to 70 people for anything from a product launch to a birthday party.
The historic market town of Louth is the capital of the Lincolnshire Wolds and being the heart of a rich agricultural area, is highly prized for its award-winning butchers, grocers, bakeries, markets and more. As well as the farmers’ market on the fourth Wednesday of each month and a weekly market on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, the surrounding farmland provides mouth-watering, fresh produce for the local shops, cafes and tea rooms, pubs and restaurants.
