Yurtshire Fountains is situated at Aldfield close to the historic city of Ripon in North Yorkshire. We are set in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of the magnificent Yorkshire Dales National Park. With only three stylish and comfortable yurts this exclusive site sits in a beautiful meadow with fantastic views of the spectacular scenery beyond.
All our sites and yurts are ‘off grid’ which means guests can really escape the everyday ‘rat race’. We have gone to great lengths to ensure it need not be a compromise! In the true nature of ‘off grid living,’ the yurts do not have electricity. Lanterns and candles are provided and together with the warm glow of the wood burning stove, fire pits and barbeque it all adds to the romantic ambience and truly magical experience of staying in one of our yurts. Each yurt sits on decking and has a private flushing toilet and hot gas shower. Each yurt is also equipped with a fire extinguisher and fire blanket.
Get Eco! Why not sit back and enjoy a long soak in our outdoor wood burning hot tub or book yourself in for a massage at our eco spa onsite.
Guests can do as much or as little as they choose from enjoying the private 7 acre yurt field to the fantastic array of attractions in the local area. A wide range of excellent local pubs and restaurants are available within close proximity. The Camp Hill Estate has its very own cafe bar on site and shop to buy provisions.
