River Cottage offers charming self catering accommodation in Melverly near Oswestry. Our Grade II Listed cottage enjoys stunning views of the Briedden Hills, ideal for an idyllic break in Shropshire.
Our unique cottage is a haven for tranquillity and adjacent to the 15th Century St Peter’s Church, one of the oldest timber-framed churches in England and Wales. Nestled on the banks of the River Vyrnwy, fishing rights are available. The property has been recently restored to offer excellent accommodation. A lovely lounge/dining area is perfect for relaxing in after a busy day exploring the area. A well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances to suit all your needs.
Two comfortable twin bedrooms are available. A shower room comes with a wash basin and WC. All bed linen is provided.
Outside is a wonderful patio area/fenced lawn. An ideal place for a morning coffee whilst admiring the view.
