Crickhowell is a gorgeous country town in the famous Usk Valley, with lots of wonderful attractions to see. You can visit the 13-arched bridge across the River Usk which dates from the 16th Century or visit a ruined Norman Castle in a peaceful park. Dotted around the town are lots of examples of beautiful architecture reflecting medieval, Georgian, Edwardian and Victorian influences.
Outdoor enthusiasts can hike, mountain bike or climb the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains. Lots of walking and cycling trails are in the area, including Crug Hywel or the Table Mountain path. The Blaenavon World Heritage Centre is around six miles away and houses a visitor centre, museum, gallery and regular events and exhibitions.
