The Hayloft & The Corner House offers wonderful self catering accommodation in Fakenham near Thurford. Located in a gorgeous countryside location in Norfolk, we are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.
The Hayloft: This is a beautiful 17th Century barn with lovely original pegged oak beams, converted on the upper floors to accommodate five people for self catering holidays. In a peaceful and delightful setting of 64 acres of working farmland, and with fine views across the countryside, it is approached up a straight drive through former parkland,
On the first floor, there is a large, open plan sitting/dining room with a wood burning fire, TV, DVD player and a pine fitted kitchen with cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine etc. This leads through to a double bedroom with a washbasin, and one twin-bedded room. On the second floor, there’s a balcony overlooking the living area below, one single bedroom and a bathroom with power shower and w.c. There is also an airing cupboard and linen is supplied.
The Corner House: Our delightful stable conversion is in the corner of a sunny courtyard of beautiful 17th Century buildings. On the ground floor, there is a sitting/dining room with a kitchen area, leading down to a utility room. There is also a terraced area, looking directly onto the fields behind. The Corner House is beautifully furnished throughout and has all mod cons.
