This is a delightful, detached self-catering holiday cottage with outside hot tub, rated 4 star by Visit Scotland, with extensive views of the hills and valley in which the peaceful village of Finzean is situated. It sits in the large gardens surrounding the owner's house.

The modern, bright and spacious detached self-catering cottage comfortably sleeps 5. Accommodation comprises of hall, open plan lounge/kitchen dining area, utility room, three bedrooms, one king-size bedroom, one twin or super-king and one single room, shower room with walk-in shower with deluge shower, toilet and basin. It has its own garden, sitting area with furniture, Weber gas BBQ and a ramp to the front entrance.

Electricity is on a meter. Bedding and towels included in weekly charge. Cot (excluding cot linen), Highchair & electric steriliser available. Electric hob and oven, dishwasher, American style fridge/freezer, microwave and washer dryer. TV’s with Freeview, DVD, iPod docking station, electric fire, electric instant panel heating throughout. Off-road parking, no smoking. £100 returnable deposit against damage/breakage required upon check-in.

The cottage, 7.5 miles west of Banchory, is ideally located for exploring Royal Deeside famous for its Highland Games in the summer. There is a wide range of sporting activities available locally, including hill walking, mountain biking, skiing, horse riding, climbing, fishing, there are 9 golf courses and a driving range within 10-30 minutes’ drive and an outdoor activity centre within 10 miles providing activities including go-karting, quad biking and 4×4 driving.

There is a pub/restaurant just 2.5 miles from the self-catering cottage and a farm shop & tea room just 500 yards away.

Banchory, Aboyne, Ballater, Braemar and Aberdeen are all within easy reach by car and provide an excellent range of restaurants and shops. Days out can be planned around the variety of the many gardens and castles in the surrounding area such as Balmoral Castle, Crathes Castle, Drum Castle, Dunnottar Castle and many more. Aberdeen, the beautiful ‘Granite City’, 26 miles away offers much of historical and cultural interest.
