Our spacious family retreat sleeps up to 12 guests in 4 bedrooms but can sleep up to 12 people through the use of sofa beds in the living room areas. We are ideal for hen do’s, families and groups. The cottage is beautifully furnished in a modern country style and comes with a range of facilities to suit all your needs.
The spacious living room comes with a large sofa, small sofa, winged back chair, comfy armchair, rocking chair and a large inglenook fireplace with an open log fire and an original bread oven. The room boasts solid oak flooring, an original beamed ceiling and windows seats. A second seating room also comes with seating. A large shaker style kitchen comes with a Belfast sink, solid work surface, double range cooker with integrated fridge/freezer/dishwasher. The pine table seats up to 16 people.
Lovely bedrooms available include a family room, downstairs single and a master room with a double bed and 2 singles. A fourth bedroom is just seconds from the main cottage and has a small double plus a single bed, complete with an en suite wet room. A wonderful bathroom has a large Victorian roll top style bath with an electric shower.
Outside is a gorgeous secluded patio with York stone flooring and a stone wall, with a table and chairs, BBQ and lightings. This space enjoys delightful views of the private gardens.
We are only a 1-minute walk from 2 award-winning pubs, The Green Dragon and the Wicked Witch. Great attractions to visit include Rutland Water, Burghley House, Tallington Lakes, Rockingham Castle & Barnsdale Gardens.
