There are 4 Golf Courses within a 10 to 15-minute drive of the Old Drift House. Stoke-by-Nayland has 2 championship courses used for the PGA Senior Championship. Hintlesham Hall, Newton Green and Brett Vale all welcome visitors at weekends and offer midweek specials throughout the year.

Old Drift House is set in the picturesque medieval village of Kersey in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, not far from the beautiful and unspoilt Suffolk coast. Kersey is one of England's chocolate box villages with a stunning hilltop church, beautiful thatched cottages and an ancient ford running through the centre of the village complete with resident ducks.
