Lake Lodge at Maxey is a luxurious, spacious and exceptionally well-equipped family home. It is set in peaceful surroundings overlooking its own lake. Stamford and Peterborough are both a ten-minute drive away and the house is ideally located for exploring Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Rutland.
Two extra fold up beds or cots for children can be provided. The house is ideally suited for family or group get-togethers, relaxing holidays or as a quiet base for business people working in the area. There is also the option for extra guests to camp in the grounds with access to an outside shower room and toilet.
Maxey itself has a pub specialising in real ale but although it does not serve food, there are many local villages with pubs that do. Market Deeping is just 3 miles away and provides many local amenities including supermarkets and several takeaways, many of whom deliver to the house.
The interesting and pretty historic town of Stamford is just 7 miles away with Burghley House Stately Home on its outskirts and the A1 running past it. Oakham and Rutland Water are a half-hour drive away and the Cathedral City of Peterborough with Queensgate shopping centre, cinemas, theatres, etc. Market Deeping is just three miles away and provides most local amenities including supermarkets, restaurants and takeaways.
