The hosts have used natural materials throughout such as slate flooring, wool carpets and blankets from Lakeland, wool rugs, a solid oak kitchen and flooring, cotton fabrics and towels and feather bedding. They have also installed modern quality appliances and home entertainments and there are plenty of good books and reading material.
The front of the cottage overlooks the sea with spectacular views across the bay to the Lakeland Fells beyond. There is an enclosed porch with 2 seats and then a garden area with garden furniture including table, chairs, loungers and a bench and there are steps leading directly onto the beach.
The accommodation is in a perfect location. It is in a unique and unspoilt Area of Outstanding National Beauty on the edge of the Lake District National Park. A warm, welcoming and stylish holiday home that lives up to the beauty of its location.
