Cutaway Cottage is a self catering bungalow situated in the middle of Thurlestone village in its own ground surrounded by fence and hedge. There is a hard stand for you to park your car off the road. The self catering cottage is just a few minutes from the village shop as well as being only a few minutes from Kingsbridge in Devon.
The self catering bungalow has a fitted kitchen with an electric stove, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, and microwave. The dining room is up to five steps up from the kitchen and has a sideboard, high chair, dining table with six chairs, standard lamp, small table, trolley and an easy chair and the hot water thermostat is in the cupboard.
Along the passage, you will find the main bedroom with a king-size double bed, wash hand basin, chest of drawers etc. Next is the bathroom with an electric shower over the bath, wash hand basin and loo. The second bedroom has an extra-long single bed, and a single bed with another under it. There are shelves and a narrow chest of drawers. Lastly, the sitting rooms has two easy chairs, bookcase, three and two-seater sofas, coffee table, two standard lamps, TV with a video recorder and from the French windows you can see the sea and go down into the garden which is fenced in. In the garden, there is a Winer dinner table and a table to sit the barbecue on.
There are many things to see and do in South Devon from visiting historic buildings to exploring the area by bike or horse. The lovely market town of Kingsbridge which is close to the holiday cottage is great for walking and sailing. There are lots of interesting shops and a farmer’s market for those who want to do something a little more relaxing.
