Wintershead is in a rural location in the heart of Exmoor. Set in 11 acres of beautiful grounds, it is no longer a working farm but is surrounded by farmland and the open moor. Although the cottages are in a wonderfully isolated spot, there are plenty of nearby villages, pubs and restaurants where you can shop and enjoy a meal out. The tiny village of Simonsbath is about 3 miles away and Exford a further 5 miles. South Molton in Devon is a delightful country market town about 10 miles away.
All cottages benefit from the following extra facilities:
Bed linen included - Upon arrival you will find beds made with freshly laundered linen (duvets, with blankets available).
Laundry room - separate, fully equipped with automatic washing machine, tumble dryer and guests payphone.
Ample parking.
11 acres of grounds which provide a safe environment for children to play in.
Pets are welcome by arrangement at a nominal cost.
Horse stabling - You are welcome to bring your horse on holiday with you, stabling is available with DIY livery and a 5-acre paddock for grazing with straw (please call Jane for further information and costs).
Games room - centrally heated offering table tennis, pool, local information etc.
