Alder Carr House is a wonderful country house offering high-quality bed and breakfast accommodation in Barmby Moor. We are only 5 minutes from the historic market town of Pocklington and only a 10-minute drive from the park and ride in York.

Our delightful guest house has a range of spacious and comfortable bedrooms available. Two of the rooms are in the cottage and a small guest kitchen in this wing provides guests with a fridge, microwave, ironing and tea-making facilities. All the rooms are en suite and come with large easy chairs to relax on, Freeview TV and a radio.

Breakfast is served in the main house dining room and offers the perfect start to the day. Enjoy locally or homegrown produce: Local bacon and sausage, free-range eggs, compotes of our own fruit, homegrown tomatoes and homemade marmalade.
