Stay in a Beautifully Converted Old Windmill!

The Old Windmill in Aylsham, Norfolk was built in 1826 and was a working flour mill for almost 100 years. Derelict for more than 80 years, it has now been converted into luxurious self-catering accommodation for 6 people, set across 4 floors.

The mill is situated on the outskirts of the historic market town of Aylsham. The town is the centre of a rural community of scattered farms and villages set in beautiful rolling countryside. Being only 10 miles from the city of Norwich, Wroxham, the Broads and the coast at Cromer, it is the ideal base from which to explore North Norfolk, Broadland and the miles of beautiful sandy beaches.

Aylsham is home to the Bure Valley steam railway which runs 10 miles to Wroxham and is close to several fine National Trust houses. There are good shopping facilities in Aylsham, also pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The nearest pub is a 7-minute walk away.

The mill is only 100 yds from Marriott's Way cycle trail and the network of footpaths that are linked to it. There are numerous Nature Reserves in North Norfolk which are a haven for birdwatchers.
