Beaumont House Guest House offers 5-star accommodation in Windermere. Nestled in a lovely part of the Lake District, our elegant Victorian property is only a short stroll from the centre of Bowness and Lake Windermere.
At Beaumont House we are fortunate to be able to offer three ground floor rooms: one standard triple en suite (shower) room, one standard twin/double en suite (shower) room and one superior double (6’ super king sleigh bed) en suite (walk-in shower) room.
On the first floor, we have our small standard 4’6” double bedded en suite room, as well as five superior double en suite rooms.
The superior rooms all have 32” flat-screen televisions and DVD players; iron and ironing boards, two of the rooms have whirlpool baths with showers over, two with double size shower bases and one with a single shower.
The Windermere and Bowness area is renowned for its wealth of excellent restaurants, bringing cuisine from all over the world to our doorstep. Several restaurants are within easy walking distance; not forgetting the humble fish and chips and traditional English pub fayre.
Visitors come to the Lake District because of its unique, ever-changing, landscape; the beautiful lakes, rivers, mountains, and picturesque Lakeland villages which have been the inspiration for poets, writers, and artists throughout the ages. Beaumont House is ideally situated in Windermere and we provide an excellent base from which to explore the Lake District, whether you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing break or something a little more energetic.
