Clochfaen Cottages are a pair of Grade II listed semi-detached cottages that offer self-catering holiday accommodation in Llanguiring near Llanidloes in Powys.
North Cottage and South Cottage have commanding views over the Wye Valley, Llangurig and Voel Curig Mountain. A fine location for holidays in winter or summer. Both holiday cottages have Sky television and DVD players, are tastefully furnished and decorated, have modern kitchens with washing machines, modern bathrooms and are heated by an 'eco- friendly' wood pellet burning central heating system, which uses carbon-neutral fuel.
Clochfaen cottages are ideally located for attractions in Mid Wales, with the Elan Valley Lakes and Rhayader to the south, Devil's Bridge and Falls, Aberystwyth and the Cambrian coast 25 miles to the west. Please note that, by reason of the hillside location of the cottages and steep pedestrian access from the stable yard to the front doors at rear first-floor level, they are not readily accessible to the physically disabled. Guests at Clochfaen cottages may have the opportunity to use four miles of private fly fishing on the River Wye and rough shooting in a season by written permission from the owners, the Clochfaen Partnership.
