An 18th Century Inn on the Edge of the North York Moors!

The Moors Inn is a family-run business located in the quiet village of Appleton-le-Moors on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, within the National Park. This unspoilt lesser-known village is just off the A170, and has good accessibility to the Moors & Coast for touring the area, as well as scenic walks from our back door for the more active.

The Inn, dating back to the 18th Century is a grade II listed building and has been restored by the current owners to reflect its past whilst providing modern comforts and a high standard of accommodation.

There are 3 guest rooms above the pub itself, overlooking the village street and 5 rooms in the converted barns at the back of the pub, all rooms are en suite.

Well behaved dogs are welcome at no extra charge.

Here at the Moors Inn, our chefs are passionate about creating high quality, homemade food. We are keen to support local suppliers and producers in the Yorkshire area. The Inn features a large yet cosy bar area complete with a traditional open fire keeping the inn beautifully warm on those chilly winter nights. The bar features a range of seating and dining options and can be booked for meals.
